Baldur's Gate 3 is an RPG, so it's natural that there would be some crafting in it somewhere, but unlike in other games, it's not a big deal, at least not a the moment.

So, here's what you need to know about crafting in Baldur's Gate 3.

What can you craft in Baldur's Gate 3?

As it stands, there are only two things you can craft in Baldur's Gate 3.

That's not a lot of things, so it's not all that hard to keep them in mind if you find the ingredients.

So, the only potion you can craft at the moment is the Elixer of Silvanus, which cures poison. You craft this by using the Cauldron of Boiling Theriac and combining it with a Mugwort Bundle.

The other crafting recipe is for a weapon. This weapon is called Visions of the Absolute, and it's a powerful two-handed melee weapon that you can create by combining Shaft of a Broken Spear with Head of a Broken Spear.

Will there be more crafting in Baldur's Gate 3?

Given that Baldur's Gate 3 is in the earliest stages of its Early Access journey, we'd be very surprised if we didn't get more crafting recipes as the game develops.

Whether or not it will be an integral part of the game is hard to say, but it'll no doubt be something you can use to give yourself an edge here and there.
