Assassin's Creed Valhalla PC requirements: Minimum and recommended settings explained

There are an awful lot of new games coming out in the coming months… just so many games.

There will probably be a fair few of those that you're interested in getting your hands on, but one of the biggest ones is the next instalment of the Assassin's Creed series in AC: Valhalla.

If you're thinking about whether or not your PC, which may or may not be nearly as old as the Vikings themselves, can run Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, then it sure would be nice if there was some way that you could find that out.

Good news for all of you, that's exactly what we're about.

What are the minimum Assassin's Creed: Valhalla system requirements

This is the bare minimum you need and should be able to run the game on the low preset for graphics settings:

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 - 4GB or equivalent
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 - 3.1GHz or equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB Dual-Channel mode
  • OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
  • Storage: 50GB (SSD Recommended)

That'll net you an okay looking game that will average out at 1080p and 30FPS. That's not bad going at all given how old some of the parts are here.

What are the highest Assassin's Creed: Valhalla system requirements

So we know the lowest settings, but what about the highest. What do you need to be able to run the game on the ultra-high preset? Well, here you go:

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2080 - 8GB or equivalent
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700 - 3.6GHz or equivalent
  • RAM: 16GB Dual-Channel mode
  • OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
  • Storage: 50GB SSD

This all goes to show that a lot of the industry simply isn't ready for the new RTX 30 series. Which is probably for the best, because we still can't buy one.
