Option 2: Ask the host of the party to change the Lobby from public to private in their Settings Menu. Making it a private affair could increase your chances of getting in.
Option 3: If the error code persists, keep restarting the game and trying again until you can get in. If you want to go really nuclear, you could even try uninstalling the game and downloading Fortnite again from scratch.
