Tasha Yar is returning to Star Trek: Picard…with a twist?

According to a fan who attended Star Trek Las Vegas, it was announced that Denise Crosby would be returning as Tasha Yar for Star Trek: Picard. However, the announcement was just a teaser, with Crosby not wanting to spoil fans with the details.

“I don’t want to give away too much,” Crosby said (via TrekMovie). “But I’m going to tell you that you will see Tasha Yar, but I’m not going to tell you how. You got to watch.”

This has already spawned several humorous comments on Reddit, with one user claiming we’ll see her evil sister Yasha Tor. Others also claimed that we would see the character killed offscreen, which would be a very disappointing result for Star Trek fans.
