Ezra Miller restraining order issued for threatening to kill and bury couple

The Flash and Fantastic Beasts actor Ezra has already had his fair share of controversies. Just last week, the DC Universe’s Barry Allen star was arrested for harrasment at a bar in Hawaii. However, that’s not the only issue that allegedly arose in the state.

Ezra Miller restraining order

A new court document, via The Independent, has revealed that Miller allegedly threatened to kill and bury a Hawaiian couple. At the time, the 29-year old actor was living with the couple.

The incident allegedly occurred mere hours after the couple bailed the actor out of jail for their prior harassment incident. After the actor was released, the couple accused Miller of stealing their belongings.

Allegedly, The Flash actor was taking items such as a “social security card, wallet, passport, driver's license and bank cards”.

When approached on the alleged theft, Miller is said to have broke into the couples’ bedroom. Once inside, the actor allegedly threatened the male victim saying: “I will bury you and your sl*t wife”. Afterwards, the couple filed a restraining order against the actor.

The court document reads: “The respondent is famous and wealthy. This makes access to weapons much easier; as well as sending associates to harass the petitioner.”

10 police calls in two weeks

According to Associated Press, Ezra Miller has been the cause of almost a dozen disturbances in Hawaii. Since March 7th, police have been called to deal with the actor a total of ten times in Hilo, Hawaii. It is not known how long the actor has been in the region.

One of these calls included the now-infamous karaoke bar incident which resulted in the actor’s arrest. In that occasion, the actor allegedly verbally harassed bar patrons, snatched a microphone out of a young woman’s hand and lunged at a man playing darts.

The Hawaii disturbances are far from the only incidents involving the actor. For example, in 2020, a recording of Miller surfaced online that showed them choking a female fan. Additionally, years prior the actor was arrested for pot possession.

Miller’s multiple controversies do not appear to be hindering their ability to get work. Next week, the actor will star in the third and final Fantastic Beasts movie, a film that famously recast Johnny Depp over a controversy involving Amber Heard. Furthermore, Miller will be in the upcoming movie The Flash in June 2023.
