Now that the game has been in our life for a few weeks, there's every chance you may have finished the main Cyberpunk 2077 campaign. But you might have missed its secret ending!
Indeed, the Easter eggs and subtle nods in the game aren't the only secrets that fans could've found - there's even a subtly different ending to the game that you might not have realised was possible.
Keep on reading, then, and we'll tell you all about the secret Cyberpunk 2077 ending and what you need to do if you want to play it...
How to access 'Don't Fear The Reaper' secret ending in Cyberpunk 2077
PC Invasion reports that, before you can even think about accessing this secret ending, you need to establish a strong rapport with Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand.
In your menu, check the 'You Only Live Once' section and make sure your relationship with Johnny is above 70%. That's the level you need to be above in order to access the secret ending.
And then, when you're on the rooftop with Keanu right near the end of the game, planning to infiltrate the Arasaka building and take down Adam Smasher, here's what you need to do: when you're given the big choice about how to proceed, you need to do nothing. Do not pick a response. Stand there for five or so minutes, and a secret new option will present itself.
If you're unsure about when you're meant to do nothing, watch out for Keanu's line of dialogue, "You absolutely sure? No goin' back on this, y'know." There's the moment when you need to stop and let doubt creep in.
This essentially unlocks a solo run at the final mission - a secret ending where, instead of teaming up with Panam/the Aldecaldos, V and Johnny go in all-guns-blazing. Their allies are spared, but it's a much harder fight for our heroes. Make sure you gear up first!
