Cyberpunk 2077 just keeps generating more odd stories, and today we've got a doozy for you: as Eurogamer has reported, the game's popular third-person mod has finally revealed what is going on with V's bizarre sleeping position.
This isn't the only odd detail that the third-person mod has unearthed: it's also shown us just how wrong V's swimming technique is, as another recent video revealed in meme-worthy fashion.

Scroll on a bit further, then, and we'll explain the whole saga of V's terrible sleeping position, which can't be doing anything good for his/her posture...
Why were fans worried about V's sleeping position to begin with?
As you can see in the video directly below this sentence, the sleep animation that plays in V's bedroom is one of the weirder things in Cyberpunk 2077...
Unless you too sleep like a weirdo, you'll probably notice immediately that V is lying in the wrong direction and doesn't have his/her head on either of the pillows available. Even in the far-flung future, surely that can't be right?
Needless to say, the online gaming community had some fun with this one, with memes like the one below popping up on Reddit shortly after the game's release...
And now, thanks to the fan-made third person mod (which allows players to change their perspective of the game), now we know exactly what V's body and legs are doing during sleep.

What has the third-person mod revealed?
With the third-person mod now available, PC players who don't mind a bit of modding are able to see the game differently. One of the benefits of this is that we can now see what V is doing when that barmy sleep animation plays.
Of course, it didn't take long for that clip to appear on Reddit and for Eurogamer to pick it up. Here it is, then, a full image of how V chooses to sleep...
There we have it. Yep, V sleeps sideways and fully clothed, without bothering to use either of the available pillows, with his/her feet dangling off the side of the bed. That's, um, totally normal... right?
This is hardly one of the biggest issues with Cyberpunk 2077, but it might just be one of the funniest. Don't try this at home, though, because it looks supremely uncomfortable, and it probably isn't good for your back.
