Samsung QD-OLED Gen 3 monitor panel specifications

The 2024 Samsung QD-OLED Gen 3 lineup features two versatile panels: a 32-inch and a 27-inch version. Both models are offered in curved and flat designs, allowing users to choose according to their ergonomic needs and aesthetic tastes.

The 32-inch features a 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), complemented by a swift 240Hz refresh rate and a sharp 140 PPI. On the other hand, the 27-inch model offers a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and takes the refresh rate to a new high with 360Hz, alongside a 110 PPI pixel density.

Samsung has utilised special ultra-precise inkjet printing technology for the quantum dot light-emitting layer, optimizing inkjet nozzle and spray volume to achieve these high resolutions and pixel densities.

A key highlight is the maximum brightness, which now exceeds 3000 nits, a remarkable achievement that brings unparalleled vibrancy and clarity to the screen. Additionally, each RGB colour brightness has been boosted by 50% compared to the 2nd Gen panels.
