Despite the fact that the Xbox Series X is on the horizon, it's not like Microsoft has given up the ghost on its current-gen Xbox One console.
Today, we've seen a big piece of proof that Microsoft is not done with the Xbox One: the company is planning to release a limited-edition Cyberpunk 2077 version of the Xbox One X.
And now, thanks to the power of the internet, we've gotten to see this brand-new limited edition version of the Xbox One X ahead of its official release. Aren't we lucky?

Cyberpunk 2077 special edition Xbox One X release date
Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming sci-fi game from CD Projekt Red (makers of The Witcher series), and it was originally due to release this month.
The game then got pushed back until September instead, so the Cyberpunk 2077 release date is currently scheduled for 17th September 2020.
The Xbox One console covered in Cyberpunk 2077 branding will arrive on the market prior to the game's actual release: an official video from Microsoft has confirmed that the console is coming in June 2020.

Our first look at the limited-edition Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X
Prior to the official reveal video, this console was all shown off by Nibellion on Twitter, who revealed it to the world after an accidental listing on Amazon Canada.
And then DUDEMAN127 entered the discussion, with an image of the box that the console is meant to be coming in.
It's certainly a striking design, and no doubt a lot of people will be ready to part ways with their current consoles in favour of this one and its snazzy controller.
It's yellow and grey design gives it a nice Cyberpunk feel, which is probably the point. Though it does also kind of look like half of a Claptrap…
