It's been the kind of year that makes you want to reevaluate your life and maybe change the path of your future with your own two hands.
Well, it has been that kind of a year, but a lot of us are also now trying to work off the lockdown induced food binges and takeaway orders too.
Anyway, while things still aren't ideal, it might be the best possible time to start looking at something new.
It turns out that Microsoft might be able to help you with that, and it's thanks to Xbox Academy.
What is Xbox Academy
Well, "Microsoft Store has launched Xbox Academy, a free, online digital workshop aimed at inspiring the next generation of videogame creators."
"The Xbox Academy will offer participants an insight into the fundamentals of designing and developing games."
It basically means that you'll have a chance to learn some of the basics of game creation, and it could well be the first step for a lot of people into their dream job. It's actually all come together thanks to a partnership with East London Arts and Music, Games London, and Playground games.
It's an exciting potential prospect for plenty of people, so you're going to need to know how to get in on this.

How can you get involved
The sessions are all going to be run on September 12th and 13th, and while there are four sessions, the spaces on them are limited.
If you head on over to the website, you can then register for one of them. If you make it in, you'll be sent information on what you need to do ahead of the sessions themselves, and it could well be the start of something wonderful for you.
Don't feel too sad if you don't make it on. There are lots of resources online if you want to get started, it's always a good idea to check YouTube, for example.
