Which PS4 games will not work on PS5? Here's the full list

Backwards compatibility isn't a new thing, not at all. Despite the fact that is was briefly a thing a few generations ago, it kind of disappeared.

That is until Microsoft decided they were going to show-off and do it on Xbox One.

Well, Sony has re-entered the arena, and not only are they doing backwards compatibility again, but they've just put out a big old blog post answering some of the most pressing questions people had about it.

So, let's have a look at what they've let us know.

Look at all of these answers

The blog post goes over a lot of stuff, but the key things are these. First of all, they've again confirmed that only the PS4 will be supported here, but they have said that it'll now be 99% of games, instead of 90%.

The improvements to PS4 games include faster loading screen, improved or more stable frame rates, and some titles will be able to reach 4K and unlocked frame rates too. On top of this, you'll be able to use remote play to save storing the games on your PS5 too.

Plus, they've explained that you'll be able to transfer saves, digital games, and game data via LAN cables or via WiFi. This only counts if you still have both consoles, of course.

Finally, they've also announced the games that didn't make the cut. If this is something that's been worrying you, then you'll want the list below.
