During your adventures in Larian’s Dungeons and Dragons game, you may be tasked with finding the answer to where is Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3. There’s a good chance that you’re already searching for a different NPC anyway, might as well keep your eyes open for another one.
You and your companions are free to move about in Baldur’s Gate 3, but so are some NPCs. Dammon is one of those NPCs, so finding him could be a bit tricky.
That’s why we’ve come up with this where is Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3 guide to help you track down the wandering blacksmith.
Where is Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Dammon can be found in the Emerald Grove during Act 1, and in the Last Light Inn or Baldur’s Gate during Act 2. It is still unconfirmed if Dammon can also appear during Act 3.
The Tiefling blacksmith plays an important role in Karlach’s story, but he is involved in a few other quests as well. Dammon can end up getting killed in these quests, so it’s important to be mindful of how you interact with him.
If you’re having trouble pinpointing Dammon’s location in Act 1, you can find him near the area where you can encounter the strange ox. If you still can’t find him after the grove quests and you know that he is still alive, you will need to wait until you get to Act 2 to encounter him.
What happens if Dammon dies in Baldur’s Gate 3?
If Dammon is killed before you’ve progressed Hellion’s Heart, you will be unable to continue with Karlach’s quests. The game doesn’t do a very good job of letting you know this since the quest remains active with its marker leading you to Dammon’s corpse.
Having Dammon die during your playthrough will have a huge impact on your ability to start a romance with Karlach so make sure to keep the blacksmith alive if you have a thing for your Tiefling companion.
