Warhammer: Age of Sigmar ā€“ Realms of Ruin unit types

There are currently four different unit types in Realms of Ruin - Assault, Tank, Ranged, and Hero. Each type has its own unique properties and is generally strong against one type of unit and weak against another.

Here are the details on each of the different units in Realms of Ruin.

  • Assault (Sword symbol) ā€“ able to attack enemies with a powerful Charge ability. Strong against Tanks but weak against Ranged units.
  • Tank (Shield symbol) ā€“ can shrug off ranged attacks due to their heavy armour. Strong against Ranged, weak against Assault.
  • Ranged (Bow symbol) ā€“ uses ranged weapons to deal damage from a distance. Strong against Assault units, weak against Tanks.
  • Hero (Star symbol) ā€“ elite units that are considered to be heroes or villains in the gameā€™s story. They can use unique and powerful abilities.

You may notice another type of unit that has a horned beast symbol. These are units that are classified as monsters.
