Vampire Survivors is still one of the most addictive video games available, with the title quickly standing out on Steam Deck, mobile devices, and Nintendo Switch. In case fans thought they could finally put this addictive bullet hell game down, developer Poncle Games has announced a new Adventures mode to reel players back in.
The game’s official Twitter account has confirmed that Adventures will be coming out fairly soon, on December 6, at least for PC and Xbox Series. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch and mobile fans will have to wait a bit longer for the update, which the devs have apologized for.
Adventures will add self-contained stories to Vampire Survivors, which promises to reset and remix the game’s content. Based on the trailer, it looks like this bullet hell title will be getting additional objectives and cutscenes, which makes this more interesting.
Most fans consider Survivors to be one of the most addictive titles available, making it a perfect fit for the then-new Steam Deck. Its momentum carried onto the free-to-play mobile version, adding an even bigger audience to the game’s ever-growing popularity. Naturally, its popularity also grew on Nintendo Switch, which added an addictive co-op mode for everyone to try.
It also didn’t take long for Vampire Survivors to spawn several imitators, as various game stores are now chock full of them. One notable imitator is the Reinfeld movie tie-in game, so fans of the Nicholas Cage movie can give this a shot and then try out the real thing.
While the bullet hell has lost a bit of momentum since it still manages to make the Top 20 in Valve’s most-played Steam Deck games. If anything, the addition of Adventures couldn’t have come at a better time, as it gives players an excuse to replay this addictive title.
