We're less than a month away from the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. While the new movie is rumoured to have Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s webheads join Tom Holland to fight the Multiverse, they have yet to be revealed.
Despite constant leaks of set photos of the two, many believe the two are not in the movie. (Even links to all three Spidey universes in Morbius aren't enough to convince them.) However, new evidence definitively shows the Raimi version of Spider-Man in No Way Home marketing.
Tobey Maguire found in Spider-Man: No Way Home marketing
Spotted by Twitter user Dominic_Kravitz, official Spider-Man: No Way Home merchandise shows Maguire’s Spider-Man. The merchandise, licensed from Marvel Studios, is part of BarkBox, a monthly subscription service.
The Spider-Man-themed box included multiple items: a Doctor Strange plushie and some Spidey Bites dog treats. However, the inside of the box featured the first look at the beloved Tobey Maguire suit in any of the marketing materials.
BarkBox’s titular box shows Tom Holland's’s Spider-Man intercut with newspaper clippings. Not only does this create a cool pallet of full colour and black and white, but it also shows us something new. Behind the MCU’s Peter Parker is Maguire’s webhead in his Raimi suit.
It’s only a tiny part of the image. However, it is our first official look at Tobey Maguire in relation to Spider-Man: No Way Home. The image is also taken from a Daily Bugle newspaper from 2002. Did these newspapers also come through the multiverse portal?

No more talking about Spider-Man
Both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire have had enough of discussing the new Spider-Man movie. Of course, Andrew Garfield has been far more berated about his possible appearance in the new movie. As a result, the Tick, Tick... BOOM actor has said he's “done” denying his involvement anymore.
However, Maguire has been mostly untouched by these queries, likely because the actor stays away from press. Nevertheless, there have been some instances where the actor has been approached by civilians asking about the film.
One hilarious incident shows Maguire and his possé on walking down the street. The civilian cameraman asks: “Hey Tobey... you in the next Spider movie?” After a short wait, Maguire simply responds: “Nooooo.”
