Are you having trouble choosing from the list of Starfield traits? Character customization does affect both your in-game appearance and playstyle after all. That’s why we’ve come up with this guide to help you make a more informed decision when it comes to picking your character’s traits.
Starfield gives you the opportunity to explore hundreds of worlds with the aid of companions and powers. Choose the right set of traits, and you can become a force to be reckoned with.
So, let’s start looking at Starfield traits and how to pick them so that you know the best ones to choose for your character.
How to pick Starfield traits
Starfield traits are chosen during the character creation process after selecting a background. You can choose up to three, but you also have the option to go through the game with no traits at all.
There are a total of 17 traits to choose from and they all have unique effects that will always be active when selected. None of the traits seem to stand out so far, so it’s best to choose the ones you think will be a good fit for your playstyle.
You can also opt to choose a trait that syncs up with your background for that extra bit of role-playing immersion. Either way, traits don’t have a huge impact on the game in their current state, so just go with whatever you think sounds fun to have.
