So, let’s figure out how to obtain the Starfield bounty hunter armor to up your chances of survival in the endless void of space.
How to get bounty hunter armor in Starfield
You can get the bounty hunter armor in Starfield by looting it off of random enemies. Otherwise, you can also buy it from some shops in a place called the Key, or even obtaining it during the Mantis side quest. Each method has its pros and cons, so we’ll be taking a closer look at each one.
Loot
Every piece of bounty hunter armor is available through loot, but it may take a while before you get them all. Enemy drops are random, so you could become a galactic serial killer before you complete the armor set.
The enemies you’ll be farming for bounty hunter armor are the ones called spacers. They’re usually found in places like abandoned outposts.
The Mantis
While you’re busy offing unsuspecting spacers for bounty hunter armor, you might trigger a quest called The Mantis. Progressing through this quest will take you to the Mantis Lair where you will be able to obtain the bounty hunter spacesuit.
It will only be the spacesuit, but you’re guaranteed to obtain it as long as you look in the right place. Stay vigilant and you’ll find the bounty hunter spacesuit inside a metallic briefcase lying next to a cot inside the Mantis Lair.
The Key
The Key serves as the headquarters for the Crimson Fleet, one of the factions you can join in Starfield. Of course, to make use of the shops here, you’ll have to become a member of the Crimson Fleet.
After joining the ranks of these space pirates, you can check out the shops Zuri’s Essentials, TK’s Tactical Gear, and Trade Authority for bounty hunter gear. If you don’t find any in their inventory, you can check back with them after the vendors refresh their wares.
