Photos of the latest Star Wars: Andor set have leaked online, showing Winspit Quarry in Dorset transformed into a production set for filming of the upcoming TV show.
The team producing the set closed the Winspit Quarry on April 27th. A sign outside the shoot stated that the area will be closed until May 21st.
Set five years before the events of Star Wars: Rogue One, Andor will explore the backstory of Cassian Andor. The 12-episode series will premiere exclusively on Disney+ and will follow the formative years of the rebellion.
This isn’t the first time images of the show have surfaced online. Images of a transformed cafe in Cleveleys appeared online last week. The team behind the show transformed a popular tourist destination, giving it a distinct Star Wars look.

Winspit Quarry
Winspit Quarry is located near Worth Matravers, a rural village on the East Dorset coast. The quarry’s caves have been used as locations in several TV shows including Blake 7 and Doctor Who. Disney’s 2012 film John Carter also used the quarry as a location for the Orkney Dig.
Tourists took the photo below of the set from above, as there are numerous paths still open in the area.
