The world rejoiced to see the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home appear on the 24th of August 2021. Having a staggering 59 million views, it’s clear that the internet is ready for Peter Parker's next adventure.
However, with so much looking to happen in the upcoming film, many have wondered how Marvel is going to fit everything in one movie. The answer: make one massive movie!
Rumours about the Runtime
Thanks to Cineworld UK, we have a sneak peek of the potential run time. They have the film listed as having a run time of 150 minutes, which is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. While 150 is a round number, and there is always a possibility of it being a simple placeholder time. But since it is 17 minutes longer than Spider-Man: Homecoming, it's within the realm of possibility that it’s real-time.
If true, this would make No Way Home the longest solo MCU movie to date. At the time of writing, the longest MCU movies are both Avengers movies: Infinity War and Endgame. Captain America: Civil War comes in at 2 hours and 17 minutes, shorter than No Way Home.
Debatably, No Way Home could be considered a team-up movie. After all, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be paired with Dr Strange and other webheads. However, it remains the longest non-Avengers MCU movie. Is this a sign for things to come?
