Sega has recently announced the Game Gear Micro, a series of tiny versions of the beloved handheld console. And if you're wondering about the Sega Game Gear Micro price in the UK, the USA, mainland Europe or Japan - you've come to the right place!
The Sega Game Gear Micro will come in four colours, with each version coming pre-packaged with four games. The portable machine has a 1.15-inch display - minuscule when compared to the original console's 3.2-inch screen.

In Japan, SEGA is making its new portable console available for ¥4,980. That's a pretty low price for a new piece of tech!

That Japanese price translates to around £37, although a report from Dr. Serkan Toto of Kantan Games suggests that the actual UK price from the Sega Game Gear Micro might end up being £50. Not bad, still!

Sega Game Gear Micro price USA
Dr. Serkan Toto of Kantan Games also predicts the Sega Game Gear Micro console will go for $50 in the USA. This looks like another instance of UK and USA price being the same round number, even though there's such a thing as an exchange rate!

Dr. Serkan Toto also reckons that the Sega Game Gear Micro will set you back €50 in Europe. European orders of the consoles are not yet being accepted, though.
Sega Game Gear Micro pre-order UK
At the time of writing, the Japanese Sega website is pointing to numerous retailers for Japanese pre-orders of the Game Gear Micro.
You can, for example, find the product on the Japanese version of Amazon. Orders will ship from October 6th, 2020.
However, UK retailers and US retailers have not started accepting pre-orders just yet. We'll let you know when they do. In the meantime, you could always buy a Sega Mega Drive Mini to tide you over.

Sega Game Gear Micro Big Window Price
The console itself is quite cheap, then, but you might be interested to know that the aforementioned chunky magnifying glass peripheral is being sold separately.
The Big Window, as it's called, will retail for a massive ¥27,255 - roughly $250 or £199. Quite steep just to be able to actually see your game...
