The Samsung Galaxy A73 release date is finally here, as Samsung quietly announced the device following the event that showcased the A53 and A33.
There are still more questions than answers though, so let's take a look at what we know so far.
Samsung Galaxy A73 Release Date
The Samsung Galaxy A73 will be releasing on April 22nd to 'select markets'. What this could mean is that the A73 is heading to Europe to start with, much in the same way the A33 is too.
Samsung Galaxy A73 Specs
So what's new with the A73? Let's take a closer look shall we?
Samsung Galaxy A73 Design
A design of the Galaxy A73 emerged via reputable leakers 91Mobiles prior to the event, which purported to be the first official render of the phone, but now we have a full look at the device itself.
As you can see, it looks the A73 has kept the similar punch-hole style camera to other phones in the Galaxy A-series, but introduce some even thinner bezels to the party compared to the older A72, which in turn increases the screen-to-body ratio.
Samsung Galaxy A73 Specs
Alongside the first press pictures of the Galaxy A73, some recent leaks (via AndroidPolice) also gave us an idea of the phone's potential specs, however, now it's official!
The display will be a 6.7", and the phone itself will pack a 5000 mAh battery, 6GB or 8GB of RAM (128GB or 256GB of storage) and a microSD slot for up to 1TB.
It'll also feature 25W fast charging, but as with the others in the series don't expect to see wireless charging anytime soon.

Samsung Galaxy A73 Camera
There were also some meaty leaks associated with the A73's camera module prior to the announcement which you can see below.
What we're getting this time around is a 108-megapixel main camera, which is actually the same as the one in the S22 Ultra.
This will be a big hit for many, and certainly worth considering over the A53 and A33.
Samsung Galaxy A73 Price
As for pricing info, we don't have any official word from Samsung, but as pricing has remained consistent for the A70-series phones for the last couple of years at £419/€449, it would make sense for the A73 to follow the same trend.
We’ll keep you posted when we hear more!
