For the past few years, Twitch has been rewarding its viewers with in-game items and currency simply for just watching streams.
While most of this is often limited to Twitch Prime members, Twitch Drops are different - anybody can win.
With that in mind, here's how to unlock Twitch Drops for Rust.

How to unlock Rust Twitch Drops
The first and most obvious step towards your drops is to log in to your Twitch account. You will also need to be logged into your Steam account that you want to receive the Drops in, and activate Twitch Drops in your Steam account.
From there, it's pretty simple! Simply click here to find Rust streams that have Twitch Drops enabled, and get watching. Different streams often have different conditions to win, including watching four hours, for example. If you win, you will find your Twitch Drops in your Inventory here.
Once the Drop is in your inventory, you need to claim it for the loot to show up in Rust, which could take around 10 minutes to appear in-game.
When is the next Rust Twitch Drop?
According to Alistair McFarlane, a producer at Facepunch Studios, the next round of Twitch Drops for Rust will go live with the next Rust update on February 4 at 7 PM GMT/11 AM PT/ 2 PM ET.
This follows on from the previous round that took place between January 7 and January 14.
We still don't know the specifics of what to expect when these drops go live, but we'd predict that if the upcoming Twitch Drops release on February 4, then the round will end a week later on February 11.

Rust Twitch Drops Rewards
Many of the rewards gained via Twitch are unique to the Twitch stream you watch. Nothing has yet to be confirmed, but a recent post on Steam allegedly includes all the items made by creators that will be available via the next round of Twitch Drops.
This collection includes various custom weapons, clothing, and doors tailored to a different Rust streamer, such as Greekgodx, imPheetus and Willjum1.
Aside from specific streamer items, there is also likely to be some more standard items included in the Twitch Drop that you will receive by watching any stream with the Drops Enabled badge.
