A new smaller version of the popular Razer DeathAdder V2 wired gaming mouse has been launched by the gaming giant. The DeathAdder V2 Mini is built on much of the same tech as the original, with some changes based on player feedback to make it more suitable for those with smaller hands.
Razer announced the new mouse yesterday (July 9th, 2020). According to the official press release, the Mini was "designed to meet community demands for a smaller, lightweight version, but retaining the iconic ergonomic right-hand design trusted by over 10 million Razer DeathAdder fans".

Razer DeathAdder V2 Mini specs
According to the V2 Mini's official webpage, the mouse features an 8,500 DPI high-precision optical sensor - notable a step down from the larger version's 20,000 DPI Focus+ sensor. In terms of movement, it can reach up to 300 inches per second and 35 G max acceleration (compared to 650 IPS and 50 G on the original).

Razer DeathAdder V2 Mini features
In the official press release, Razer describes the V2 Mini as "an ultra-lightweight gaming mouse designed to fit smaller hand sizes". Lightweight is certainly true, as at only 62 g (2.2 oz) it's one of the lightest gaming mice on the market. Size-wise, it's 13 mm shorter in length, 5 mm thinner, and 4 mm smaller in height.
The design of the new mouse is based on the ergonomic build of the bigger DeathAdder V2. Like its big brother, the Mini also features on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment, an on-board memory profile and Razer Chroma RGB lighting. For customisation, the mouse has six programmable buttons - two fewer but still plenty.
