As the E3/Summer Games Fest season draws to a close, attention would normally turn to this year's other huge gaming events such as the Paris Game Week or TwitchCon, only they have since been cancelled.
However, some in-person events are still planning to go ahead as digital-only shows, including both Gamescom and QuakeCon.
While this will certainly be a different setup from the planned showcase in Texas, we can still expect that QuakeCon, known also as QuakeCon at home, will give us news and information about all the latest games and events planned by Bethesda for the next year.

Here's everything we know about Quakecon 2020, as well as what we can expect to see during the show.
When is QuakeCon 2020?
Initially cancelled in March 2020, QuakeCon is back on!
The 25th annual QuakeCon will be held remotely from 7-9 August 2020. The event will kick off with at 5 PM BST on Friday 7 August with a special QuakeCon Digital Welcome.
Bethesda has now announced the full schedule of QuakeCon 2020, which you can see below.
While there are no mentions of games yet to be released such as Stafield, Ghostwire: Tokyo or Deathloop, we still expect these games to make an appearance. It's likely that some of the events may be shorter than the schedule alludes, with these new games filling those slots as a 'surprise' from Bethesda.

Where can I watch QuakeCon?
You can watch QuakeCon from Bethesda's official Twitch channel here or from their YouTube channel here.
What events will there be at QuakeCon 2020?
One of QuakeCon's flagship events, the bring-your-own-computed (BYOC) LAN Party is still going ahead, albeit a bit differently through the QuakeCon at Home Twitch Team.
The Team will celebrate QuakeCon, play games, and help raise money for the QuakeCon-supported charities. Players will also have the chance to be featured on the QuakeCon Twitch Team page. Sign-ups are not currently open for how to join the Twitch Team, but we'll let you know once they do.
Aside from the BYOC, fans can also expect to see the finals of the Quake Pro League in the Quake World Championships. This will be streamed live throughout the weekend, concluding at 10 PM BST on Sunday 9 August.
As with past events, we expect to see footage or announcements of Bethesda's upcoming games.

QuakeCon Game Announcement Speculation
While QuakeCon started out focused on Quake, it has since grown to encapsulate Bethesda's library of fantastic (and less fantastic) games.
After seeing lots of DOOM Eternal at QuakeCon 2019, we expect this years show to focus more on next-gen titles such as Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Players can also look forward to more updates for Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Online.
We wouldn't be surprised to see some update for the mythical Starfield game originally revealed at E3 2018.
However, as Bethesda's VP Peter Hines somewhat tempered expectations around Elder Scrolls VI on Twitter, we don't expect to see any of this game shown off in August.
