If you have encountered problems while connecting to servers, you probably know how annoying it is and how difficult to find a solution. Luckily, we have some tips for you on how to fix Palworld no password has been entered error.
The error appeared on the day of the game's launch and a little time has passed since then, but several solutions have already been found. We hope that at least one of them will help you play the game with your friends until the developers fix this error.
But before we dive into this topic, feel free to take a look at our article on whether you can play Palworld on Steam Deck. On top of that, here's our guide on how to delete Palworld Worlds, make sure to check it out.
Palworld no password has been entered error solution
The first method is a bit weird since it is actually fixing a bug with another bug, but it worked for many other Palworld players. If you go to Join Multiplayer Game and try to connect to the dedicated server via IP, you will not be able to do so because of the above error. However, you can work around this by following the next steps:
- In the Join Multiplayer Game menu, select the Community Servers tab.
- You will see a list of available servers, among which you need to find one with a password (such servers have a lock icon to the left of the name).
- Click on the server, enter any password, and press OK.
- After that, you will be asked if you want to join the server and here you have to click NO.
- Once you do, you can enter the IP address in the field below.
- After you click Connect, the download will begin, and you will be launched into the world.
The second method is a bit simpler and even more effective, so if the previous one didn't help you, try this one:
- In the server you created, remove the password. Now, your friends will be able to join your world without any problems.
- After that, create a new password and add it to the configuration file.
The methods shown above will help you play Palworld with your friends on the same server. This is certainly not a complete solution to the problem, but the developers are aware of this bug and promise to fix it in the next update.
