Within the world of Android phones, Oppo Find X5 Pro vs One Plus 10 Pro is quite the important battle, considering that the pair look to be shaping up to be some of the best Android phones out there today.
Both phones were announced in late February, with Oppo choosing to reveal the Find X5 Pro at their own event, whilst OnePlus showed off the 10 Pro at MWC 2022, and spoiler alert, the smartphones look absolutely fantastic.
So, if you're eyeing one of these new flagship Android phones but you're unsure which one to go for, let's break a few things down to help you out and decide, once and for all, who wins the battle.
Oppo Find X5 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro Specs
Between the pair of phones, there isn't all too much difference in their respective spec sheets.
Both of them run Qualcomm's new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and the same Adreno 730 GPU.
There's also upwards of 12GB of RAM available on either the Find X5 Pro or the 10 Pro, although it looks to be the case that you can get the OnePlus 10 Pro in more storage configurations with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB available. The Oppo Find X5 Pro can only be configured with 256GB or 512GB.
Their displays are both 6.7-inch panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, so should offer plenty of screen real estate and some smooth output, too.
In addition, both smartphones are IP68 water-resistant, the highest you can get, and even on the software side of things, Oppo and OnePlus both utilise ColorOS 12.1 which is based on Android 12.
The fact there's a lot of similarity between the two phones can most likely be attributed to the fact that both firms are owned by the same Chinese company, BBK Electronics, so much so that the two brands merged back in 2021.

Oppo Find X5 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro Camera
There is a bit of divergence between the pair when it comes to the cameras. Whilst they both utilise Hasselblad lenses, their sensors are a little bit different.
In taking the Find X5 Pro first, you'll find a triple camera with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide with a 112-degree FOV and a 13MP telephoto lens. As for video shooting capabilities, Oppo's phone can shoot 4K at up to 60fps.
By comparison, the OnePlus 10 Pro features a 48MP main sensor with a 50MP ultrawide, although with a 150-degree FOV and an 8MP telephoto lens. The fact that OnePlus' ultrawide has such a vast FOV means you'll be able to fit a fair bit more in a frame, which will be handy for landscape photography.
As for its video shooting. you'll find it can record 8K video at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps, giving it a clear advantage over the FindX5 Pro. Just note that an 8K video will take up a lot of space very quickly if you want to shoot at that resolution.
Oppo Find X5 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro Design
Where the most marked differences arise is within the phone's respective designs. The Oppo Find X5 Pro is available in either Glaze Black or Ceramic White, featuring a modest morphed camera bump on the top left-hand side to house the powerful triple camera array. It weighs in at 218g and looks rather sleek indeed.
The same can be said for the OnePlus 10 Pro, too. It's available in either Emerald Forest green or Volcanic Black and offers a mirrored ceramic and matted frosted glass finish. Round back there's a typical more typical camera protrusion as has also been featured on phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S21 in the past.
As for weight, OnePlus' offering is a little lighter at just 200g, but there isn't much to pick between them.

Oppo Find X5 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro Price
Out of the two phones, the easier one to get hold of right now is the Oppo Find X5 Pro, which is available to purchase from major retailers such as Amazon.
It will set you back £1049/€1299 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
As for the OnePlus 10 Pro, it isn't available in the UK just yet, but a launch event on March 31st may just give us more details of UK availability. It's been around in China since January, for reference.
Which One Should You Buy?
Between the pair, there isn't all too much to pick. Their specs are practically identical with incredible on-paper performance, and they've both got great cameras by the looks of things. To be honest, therefore, the buying decision essentially comes down to aesthetics, and even then, both phones look great.
If you're a fan of a sleeker design, head for the Oppo Find X5 Pro, and if you want something a little more traditional by way of modern smartphones, then the OnePlus 10 Pro should not disappoint.
Either way though, you should still end up with an amazing phone.
