The game is set in the 80s and 90s, so the World Cup events highlighted include matches in the 1986 and 1999 tournaments, where you can completely change the course of history by helping England overtake Argentina or West Germany.
Once you're done fantasizing about England being a competent national team, you can hop on the Egg Cup, where 56 teams will duke it out for glory.
