When Microsoft Flight Simulatorfirst launched in mid-2020, players were amazed by the sheer detailing that Asobo Studio had managed to create across the entire world. Using 3D photogrammetry techniques, the developers were able to map a pretty accurate picture of Earth, albeit with a few hilarious hiccups.
