Retro gaming is cool.
Sure, the PS5 and the Xbox Series X are out now, and they're great and everything, but sometimes you just want to sit down with an old console and relive ye olde days of gaming.
Of course, some people don't just want retro gaming, they want a little more. Some people want something a little fancier.
Well, how about you get your hands on a metallic case for your Game Boy Advance SP.
What is the Metal Game Boy Advance SP?
It's important to note that this isn't a full GBA SP, it's just a case.
That means you'll need the innards for the handheld console if you actually want to play any games on it.
The point here is to order the case and then transfer your own GBA SP insides into it to allow you to use it in a fancy new skin.
It's basically a cosmetic for your real-world tech, and it does look incredibly fancy. What if you want tog et one though? Well, here's what we know so far.

When will the Metal Game Boy Advance SP release and how much will it cost?
As it stands, the only info we have is that ETA on production is January 2021. That likely means that we'll see the product on sale in the following months.
In terms of price, it's hard to say, but we know that the standard Game Boy Advance aluminium shell costs $69, which means we can expect the SP version to cost around about the same.
If you're really interested in this, then definitely keep an eye on the Boxy Pixel website for new updates on when it's coming and exactly how much it'll cost.
