How to Increase Manor Lords Approval

Several factors affect your Approval in Manor Lords like making sure supplies are stored properly and maintaining variety in the marketplace. Here’s how to ensure the happiness of your citizens in Manor Lords.

  • Provide enough housing to prevent homelessness
  • Meet the Market Supply requirements for burgage plots
  • Meet the Amenities requirements for burgage plots
  • Make sure all supplies are stored properly
  • Have enough variety in marketplace stalls
  • Bury villagers that die in battle against Raiders and Bandits
  • Lower taxes
  • Make upgrades to the structures in your settlement when available

Losing track of just one of these factors is enough to cause a ripple effect that will make your Approval come crashing down. Homeless families will turn to a life of crime and cause chaos within your settlement or supplies that haven’t been stored properly may be destroyed by the weather, resulting in a famine.

Approval in Manor Lords will impact your militia’s morale and determine your town’s ability to grow its population. the higher your Approval, the better off you'll be. In the early stages, I've found having a high Approval rating is key to effectively growing and managing your town, as it's easy to run out of families able to guide the oxen and construct additional buildings without diverting them from other important roles.
