Marvel has confirmed that Loki will continue in the future with a second season, which it revealed at the end of the first season’s last episode. After a thrilling season finale, Loki Season 2 was officially announced.
The moment in question arrives after the credits of the last episode, with a screen that simply states “Loki will return in Season 2”. Not the most imaginative way of revealing next season, but it certainly got the message across.
When will Loki Season 2 release?
There are no further details regarding what the second season might involve, although we’ll go out on a limb and assume Tom Hiddlestone will likely return as Loki.
The six episode series came to an end last night, in an episode that ended with a climactic ending. We’ll go into spoilers below, so here’s your warning if you haven’t seen it yet.

The last episode in the series concluded with Sylvie starting yet another multiversal war after killing We Who Remains. This moment will have wide-reaching effects on the rest of the MCU, and will roll straight into the upcoming Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness film.
Sylvie also sent Loki to an alternative timeline, where the evil counterpart of He Who Remains is likely located. This could be where season two all kicks off, but this may depend on events across the MCU.
