As T3 explains, this folding tablet is basically "the world’s first foldable PC tablet, combining the best of both worlds when it comes to laptops and tablets."

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold price and release date
When it comes to a release date, it looks like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is pretty much available now: orders have opened, and the official site says that shipping will occur (in the US at least) within 1-to-4 business days of your order.
As for pricing, according to the American Lenovo website, the US price for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold starts at $2,499.99, but it goes up as high as $3,099.00 if you want all the extra bells and whistles.
On the UK version of the Lenovo website (where it says that shipping occurs between 2 and 4 weeks), the prices start at £2,519.99, and they go up as high as £3,209.99.
