The most popular video game franchise has finally made it to the world of LEGO! The massive building blocks company has announced brand new products in the LEGO Super Mario range, and you can pre-order one now! This range was first introduced back in April but was limited until now.
If the precedent created by previous LEGO crossover sets and Amiibo is anything to go by, these sets will sell out mega fast and start going for ridiculous prices on eBay. Pre-order quickly to avoid disappointment.
LEGO has announced a range of Super Mario-themed sets that will start shipping on August 1st, so it's the absolute perfect gift to get now and stash away for the Mario fan in your life for Christmas.
Read on for all the details of this exciting new product range...
What is the LEGO Super Mario range?
In a press release issued today, LEGO announced its expanded partnership with Nintendo on the new range centred on the video game company's flagship character of 35 years.
"LEGO Super Mario will reinvent the way people interact with Super Mario in the physical world," the release claims. "The products announced today give fans the chance to build Mario's house, search for treasure hidden by Toad, and defeat a Koopa Troopa in the Guarded Fortress."
The new product ranges join the Adventures with Mario Starter Course, and include sets centred around Bowser, Yoshi and more from the uber-popular series. "The entry point set features seven action bricks for different interactions with the LEGO Mario figure, which has LCD screens in its eyes, mouth and belly to display instant reactions to movement, color and action bricks," the press release continues.
Colour us madly excited.
