Earlier today, specs leaked out for AMD's new Ryzen 7 CPU that has been rumoured for the last few months.
Ever since AMD announced their new Ryzen 5000 line, fans have been waiting to see just how this Desktop CPU would fare against the coming Intel 'Lake' architectures.
The high-end variants of the Ryzen 7 looks to be the same as before; powerful but affordable for most PC gamers.
However, it also hints towards this high-end line of being a competitive powerhouse against Intel for 2021.
What Has Leaked?
Earlier today, a 'Geekbench' score was shown, displaying the name of a Ryzen 7 desktop CPU, with a 3.8GHz clock with 8 cores and 16 threads.
While the 'boost clock', where the CPU goes faster based on the task it has, hasn't been revealed yet, it's safe to assume that it will be past the 4Ghz mark.
The 'G' on the end of an AMD means that it also comes with its integrated 'Vega' graphics core, so there will be onboard graphics with this as well.
This can really help someone who wants to save on funds when building a PC, as it means that they will gain two functions for the price of one component. They can wait for stock to come in for an AMD 6800 for example, while playing 'DOOM Eternal' on the Vega core in the meantime.

When could it be announced?
As Geekbench run through many of its tests on components to score it, this Ryzen 7 5700G scored 1304 points with its single-core, and 8717 points on its multi-core.
That places it as a fantastic successor to the Ryzen 7 4750G, which scored 5900 in its multi-core Geekbench score.
However, its release date is yet to be determined. As we are in the midst of CES, and NVIDIA holding an event tomorrow, it could be in the next few weeks that we see this CPU announced officially.
But with AMD also rumoured to be announced its 6800 GPU, soon it could be revealed at the same event.
