A new set of photos leaked online appear to show the set for the upcoming Disney+ exclusive show based on Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The set is based in the Perthshire countryside, alongside the River Tilt just north of the Blair Atholl.
Locals in the area have reported lots of activity over the past week. As passers-by spotted the crew behind the show building custom sets.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is filming under the working title ‘Pilgrim’ although Disney has not announced the official title for the show.
Set Locations
The set images, which you can see exclusively via The Courier, show a number of set locations. Pictures leaked online include a bridge and hut.
Most of the images show the cast and crew in the area. With catering tents, car parks and numerous sets under construction.
Locals in the area were reportedly sworn to secrecy. However, according to rumours, cyclists and walkers are allowed past the set.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Details about the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi show are scarcee, because Disney has been tight-lipped. However, it has confirmed the show will be set ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
It’s likely the show will attempt to bridge the gap between the prequel and original Star Wars trilogy. The exclusive Disney+ show could potentially show us how Obi-Wan Kenobi protected Luke and Leia. And furthermore, how he takes on the moniker of Ben Kenobi.
We may also explore how Obi-Wan handles losing his best friend and mentee, Anakin Skywalker to the Dark Side. In the prequel films, we see how Obi-Wan vouches for Anakin against the wishes of the council, only for Anakin to become Darth Vader. Disney’s upcoming show will likely show us the fallout from the events in Revenge of the Sith.
