S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is widely regarded as one of the most intriguing FPS games around. It's not a power fantasy, it's a harrowing journey around a world that wants to kill you and regularly will.
Set in an alternate version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, the games feature a lot of things that are reminiscent of Fallout.
However, rather than filling up your gameplay with talk about robots or 60s music, you'll spend all of your time just trying to survive instead.
The good news is that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has been announced, but you might be wondering if you can play it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X, and that's where we come in.
Is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on Xbox One or Xbox Series X?
According to the product page on the Xbox Site S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming to Xbox Series X only. That means now Xbox One version.
This is despite Microsoft saying they want to change how the console generations work, so it's odd to see this, and a few other games, listed as generation exclusives.
Of course, there could be some very good reasons for this, and it's worth keeping those in mind.

Why is this the case?
According to the game details on the site, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 has "one of the biggest open-worlds to date," which means it's unlikely that an Xbox One could even run it.
The next-gen of consoles should mean a leap in abilities, and without sacrificing cross-gen games, we'll never see the fruits of those labours, so it's actually a good thing to see some games being next-gen only.
It just allows for a true next-gen experience, which is something a lot of people know is incredibly important, not to mention the fact that without exclusives there's no real reason to even buy an Xbox Series X.
