Intel's upcoming desktop graphics card, called Intel Xe DG2, may not have an official release date at the time of writing, but Intel is looking to create graphics cards that compete with NVIDIA's and AMD's current graphics cards.

Intel Xe Release Date
Intel has released a recent announcement that Intel Xe and 7 nm manufacturing is currently twelve months behind its projected numbers.
Intel is taking a unique approach as the DG1 graphic card is designed for laptops, while the DG2 series of graphics cards will be designed for desktop usage.
The leaks that use this crucial information show that Intel is still developing the DG2 graphics card and is trying to deliver its brand-new graphics card as soon as possible.
Intel Xe News and Rumors
Intel hasn't released a discrete graphics card in over twenty years. Still, they are planning to offer entry-level graphics cards and cards designed for the mid-level and enthusiast-level PC builders.
One leak regarding the Intel Xe that has many PC builders excited is that it will employ a GDDR6 memory type, while a Twitter leak seemingly shows that Intel is looking to release six different versions of the DG2 graphics cards.
These different versions include one that features 512 EU cores, a 256 bit-bus, and 16 GB of VRAM, and these specs alone show how Intel is planning to compete with both NVIDIA and AMD.
