The upcoming Intel Xe graphics card may not have an official benchmark, but it is looking to compete with AMD's and NVIDIA's current graphics card offerings from the leaked specs.
This leak is looking to release up to six different Intel Xe DG2 graphics card variations, which change the installed VRAM and the total number of Execution units.
Let's take a look at what we could expect come release.
Intel Xe Benchmark
A recent tweet from Intel's chief GPU architect, Raja Koduri, showed a screenshot of the DG2 graphics card running the unreleased Mesh Shader Feature test. While no official numbers were shown in the screenshot, the texture and image look fantastic.
This upcoming 3DMark Mesh Shader feature test is more of a generic solution to testing, a much more flexible all-rounder when compared to Input Assembler, Vertex Shader, Hull Shader, Geometry Shader, and Domain Shader.
What else do we know?
Intel's first graphics card in over twenty years is looking to offer six different variants, and these variants include a high-end model which features a total of 512 execution units and up to 16GB of VRAM all the way to an entry-level model which has just 96 Execution units and 4GB of VRAM.
These variants are designed to range considerably to cover the entire GPU market; the Intel Xe graphics card may not have any official benchmarks at the time of writing. According to Intel, it is looking to be a competitor to both AMD and NVIDIA.
