The Larian RPG Baldur's Gate 3 offers players many different and intriguing options for their playthrough. But sometimes, disaster might strike and one (or more) of your party members might end up biting the bullet. What to do? Let’s look at how to remove dead party members in Baldur’s Gate 3 and try to get things back to normal.
This might be a problem especially if you want to get rid of a particular companion. The RPG developed by Larian also allows you to dual wield, to perhaps avoid being killed too early.
But what if you want to get rid of those corpses in your party? Let’s take a look at how to remove dead party members in Baldur’s Gate 3 and discover useful tricks.
Can you remove dead party members in Baldur’s Gate 3?
At the moment, it is not possible to remove dead party members in Baldur’s Gate 3. Indeed, you are stuck with them, so you cannot use death as an excuse to get rid of someone who is getting on your nerves. Tough luck on that.
What to do then? Well, of course one chance is to revive the character, which you can do by using a spell or a scroll. If you don’t have one at the moment, just wait until you can visit a shop that sells one or you can find one in a chest, perhaps.
Still, that doesn’t mean that Baldur’s Gate 3 does not feature perma-death. In some cases, some members of your party might indeed die and not come back to life. In those situations, though, the game will remove them automatically from your party.
How to revive characters without a spell or scroll
But what if you’re stuck somewhere and you do not have access to a spell or a scroll? Not all is lost, there are a couple of solutions. The easy one is finding the Talkative Skeleton, in the Dank Crypt in the Chapel.
This character will always be available to help you, but he wants 200 gold in exchange. He will automatically revive all characters in your party which have died an early death. Once you find him and give him a satisfying answer, he will show up when you need him.
When you skip a night at camp, the Skeleton will pop up, just north of your camp, in the morning. Pay him the fee of 200 gold and a dead party member will be immediately brought back to life.
