If a particular track is living rent-free on your mind, you're probably itching to loop that song on Apple Music.
Every now and then, there comes a song that captures our hearts and minds. It's the tune we can't help but hum along to, the melody that follows us throughout the day, and the one we yearn to hear over and over again.
Whether it's a chart-topping hit or a hidden gem, this guide will show you how to loop a song on Apple Music, so you can keep your favourite music on a blissful replay loop.
How to loop a song on Apple Music
The most convenient way to loop a song on Apple Music is to simply command Siri by saying, "Siri, repeat this song." To disable the repeat mode, you can easily instruct Siri with "Siri, turn off repeat."
Alternatively, you can manually loop a song on Apple Music by following these steps:
- Tap the song that's playing at the bottom of the screen.
- In the screen that appears, tap the Playing Next button (3-dot and 3-line icon) in the bottom right-hand corner.
- At the top of the Playing Next screen, tap the Repeat button (a pair of arrows forming a loop icon) and continue tapping it until the number "1" appears within the icon.
When you see the "1" within the icon, it indicates that the current song is in repeat mode. To deactivate this "Repeat One" mode, simply tap the repeat icon once more.
Apple Music repeat button not working
If you can't see the repeat button, it's likely because you're playing music from your Autoplay queue. The Repeat button is not available in this context as songs in the Autoplay queue cannot be repeated.
If you happen to see the repeat button in Apple Music but it is not functioning properly, it is probably due to the compatibility issues between the versions of your OS and the music app. In such instances, it's recommended to update your system OS as well as the app.
