Nintendo Switch Online is the cheapest of the console online services, but that doesn't mean it's a slam dunk as to whether or not you should get it.
Thankfully there is a free trial, although that normally only works once, which might not be enough time for you to decide on getting it or not.
Well, Nintendo has decided that it's been a rough old time recently, so you can go ahead and get another free trial, even if you've already had one.
Here's what you need to know.
How to get your free Nintendo Switch online trial
It all came out because of Nintendo tweeting about it as below.
All you need to do is head to the website and follow along with instruction on the site. It's pretty easy to do, and you'll be up and running in no time, which is nice.
We recommend you check out everything there is on the service to decide whether or not you want to buy it for longer.
It's also worth noting that this is only available up until February 2nd 2021, which means you should probably get on with it.

Is Nintendo Switch Online worth having?
We think so.
It really does depend on how much you use your Switch though, because if you're not using a service then paying for it is rather wasteful.
Alongside access to online gaming, you also get the odd free game, special offers, and access to the older games as they bring them onto Switch.
It's not a perfect service, and frankly, we'd rather see the return of the Virtual Console so that we can play some Gamecube games, but it's not bad given how cheap it is.
