Roblox is known for its creativity and the wide variety of games available on the platform. Occasionally though, it is hampered by errors, and one example is Roblox Error Code 267.
While errors are almost inevitable in online gaming, it doesn't stop them from being immensely frustrating. In this article, we'll run through what the code means, what causes it, and how you can overcome it.
What Is Roblox Error Code 267?
Roblox Error Code 267 is a pretty annoying one. When you try to enter a game, you get booted out, with an error message. The message has been reported with several variations, but the gist is always the same: "You were kicked from this game".
So why does this happen? Well, there are a few reasons. One common reason is that certain games will automatically kick out accounts that are less than 30 days old. So if you have only very recently created your Roblox account, then there's a high probability that this accounts for your issue.
But what about players whose accounts are much older? In this instance, there are a few other reasons that could cause Error Code 267 to occur:
- A problem with your internet connection - a slow internet connection, or one where the signal drops in and out, can be a contributory factor to this error.
- A blank game - if a developer has created a game, but hasn't actually put any content in it, that can also explain why you might be seeing this error code.
- Cheating - finally, if you've been doing something naughty, such as trying to hack a game, or insert a cheat code, that could easily result in you being banned. This can also result in this code appearing.
With all of that in mind, let's take a look at what solutions might be available, to remedy Error Code 267.
Internet
Having a problem with your internet connection is probably the most common cause of this error. The good news is that there are lots of things you can try, by way of a fix.
The first thing to do, regardless of whether you are on an iPad or a mobile device, is to make sure your internet browser is fully up to date. An out-of-date browser can create problems, and keeping it updated can reduce the occurrence of Error Code 267.
It's also important to check that your internet connection is stable, and not dropping out. If you are using WiFi, try switching to a cellular connection, or vice versa. Try connecting with an alternative device and see if you still have any connectivity issues. If you are using WiFi, consider restarting the router. And also look to ensure you don't have multiple apps and devices competing for bandwidth. If you are experiencing issues with your internet connection, then it might be worth contacting your ISP for additional support.
You can also check the server status for Roblox, in case the issue is at their end. Some players have reported that using a VPN has allowed them to circumvent this error, which may indicate that it was their local server that was causing the problem. You can also follow @Roblox on Twitter, for any service-related updates.

Error Code 267 causing Blank Game
With this particular issue, there isn't really a great deal that you can do. If the game developer hasn't actually added any content to their game, then it can throw up this error message. It isn't that anything is broken per se. More that there isn't actually a game to play. In this situation, you just need to find an alternative game to play.
Cheating
Again, this isn't really something we can offer a lot of help with, other than to say, stop cheating. It is sometimes, but rarely, the case, that you haven't actually done anything wrong. But usually, it will transpire that a player has done something against the game's rules. If you want to get back into the game, then you are going to have to contact the game owner and beg to be allowed back in. If you have been banned, it usually takes a minimum of 30 days to have your account reinstated.
For the avoidance of any doubt, this would also include doing something such as adding additional scripts to the game by using admin commands. The bottom line is: if you aren't supposed to do it, don't do it. If Roblox spot it, there's a good chance you'll be kicked out.

Any other tips?
There are a couple of other pointers that players have reported have helped them with Error code 267. One is to make sure you don't have an ad blocker running in the background, as this can interfere with your games. If you do have an ad blocker running on your iPad or phone, then try disabling it, and see whether this resolves the problem.
And finally, if you've tried everything else and nothing seems to work, then consider uninstalling Roblox, and reinstalling it. While this is a slightly more drastic measure, it can help by removing any corrupted files and making sure that the game is a pristine new installation.
Now that your issue is fixed, have a look at how to see what game someone is playing on Roblox.
