Players who have encountered this error have reported being unable to join online matches. They are getting the message, "Error Code 2-0X0000D00C you are unable to join this match because you abandoned the previous one". But it doesn't appear to be true that all affected players have, in fact, abandoned their previous matches. So what's going on?
Error code 2-0X0000D00C is not to be confused with Error code 2-0X0000E00C, Error 2-0X0000E000, or even Error code 2-0x0000D00A. This one doesn't currently appear on the official list of known error codes on the Ubisoft website.
But there are some conclusions that we may be able to draw by taking a look at those other, very similar errors.
The three error codes we highlighted all indicate issues with your connection to either the matchmaking service, or the Rainbow Six servers. And while we can't say with total certainty, it seems reasonable to assume that this new error might be part of the same family.
Ubisoft has confirmed that this error is being investigated, and the dev team is working on a fix. So keep an eye out for any updates, and install them as soon as you can.
In the meantime, try the fixes we suggested above. They work for the other errors we've mentioned. They are almost certainly your best bet for error code 2-0X0000D00C as well. Until a fix arrives, at least.
