Alas, the current-gen consoles are getting a little long in the tooth nowadays, and that means you might be experiencing more bugs and errors than ever before.
There are lots of errors to discover, and while keeping a tally chart of the ones you've managed to catch can make it into a fun little game, it's still quite irritating.
The Xbox One doesn't have the red ring of death, but instead changed the colours up and you can now experience the green screen of death.
The good news is that there are a couple of fixes though, so here's what you need to know.
How to fix the Xbox One green screen of death
The green screen of death is damned annoying, but there are ways to help sort it. Of course, if none of these work, then you'll likely have to send your Xbox One in for a tune-up.
The first thing to do is to do a hard reset. To do this, all you need to do is hold the power button on your Xbox One until the light turns a lovely shade of amber. This will fix a lot of the issues that may come up.
Unfortunately, you may have to go a step further, and one of the easiest ways to do this is to perform a factory reset on your Xbox One.

How to do a factory reset on Xbox One
Sometimes you've just got to do the hard things in life, and this is one of those times. Performing a factory reset on your Xbox One should sort out nearly every issue you're having. So, here's how to do it:
- Power off your console by holding the power button for around 10 seconds
- Press and hold the sync button, the eject button, and the power button until you hear 2 beeps
- Release the buttons and you'll be able to perform a factory reset
You'll need to download everything again, but it's worth it to save your Xbox One.
