You’ve travelled alongside Horizons’ heroine Aloy in Forbidden West and helped her through some tough battles. Now, you may be wondering if there’s more you can get out of Aloy and her exciting world. Having completed the events at Singularity, all the adventure is set to continue as you enter Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores.

The Horizon games are not unfamiliar to having expansion packs included for their games. In Horizon Zero Dawn, there was a DLC for the players to sink their teeth into called Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds.

Everything you’ll need to know to help you along your way as you step foot alongside Aloy in Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores expansion can be found on our site, including our guide on the Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores length, which will inform you of all the hours you’ll need to put in to help our protagonist.

How to start Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores

After you complete your final quest in the Forbidden West quest list in the latest Horizon game, you will be able to move into Burning Shores. Burning Shores follows straight on from Horizon Forbidden West’s main storyline.

Despite the game's release on PS4 and PS5, the DLC was exclusive to the current-gen version of the game. Fortunately, as part of the Complete Edition on PC, all PC players will get access to the expansion.

As you end your final mission, Singularity, you’ll be warned by Sylens that an evil and very powerful opponent has reached Burning Shores. The Burning Shores tasks Aloy with visiting a volcanic sanctuary, which was formerly known as Los Angeles.

Now, you know what you have to do to enter Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores. Will you make it to the end? You'll have to wait and see what lies ahead.
