With Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League being given mixed praise by fans and non-fans alike, others are hoping that the director can now carry out his vision to what the sequels were meant to be envisioned as.
However, while fans would gently write to directors and actors of whether a further film or TV show would appear thirty years ago, fans now have another avenue of asking the people in charge.
Unfortunately, some are seemingly taking advantage of this by relentlessly sending messages to the boss of HBO Max, Casey Bloys, and in turn, him blocking those on Twitter.
Why is Bloys Blocking Fans?
Unfortunately, some fans of the Snyder Universe are thinking that messaging bosses such as Bloys is a way to resurrect Zack's vision for the DC Cinema Universe.
In turn, Bloys has had enough, with many being muted or blocked on Twitter to save him from checking his notifications.
It's a strange turn of events, but with plans for other films involving DC heroes by other directors, alongside TV shows, there's a much lesser chance of sequels to Justice League appearing anytime soon.
What's next?
We've got plenty to look forward to regardless, with The Suicide Squad coming in August, followed by The Batman next March.
But at the same time, more allegations from Joss Whedon, director of the first cut of Justice League, are still coming out, as far back as Buffy from the late-nineties.
DC and Warner Bros will most likely want to cut their losses and move on, and with the future slate of films from the universe about to come, it looks like that's indeed happening.
For now anyway, we're in an age where we can enjoy many interpretations of Justice League; from the many comics, to the acclaimed TV series from the early-noughties. Sometimes, it may just be best to let one interpretation finish on a high.
