Goat Simulator 3 follows the series’ tradition of being made entirely for laughs. However, it seems the game’s marketing team has taken its humour too far, as the latest Goat Simulator 3 trailer included illegally obtained GTA 6 footage, resulting in a DMCA takedown from Rockstar Games.
Making fun of other games is a major part of this franchise’s identity, as the game’s first trailer parodied the first Dead Island 2 trailer. That being said, there is a huge difference between parodying a popular trailer and using actual illegally leaked footage from a completely different studio.

Fans can try to find it but the Goat Simulator 3 trailer was completely taken down, with no other copies seemingly available. Obviously, the GTA 6 leak was very bad for Rockstar Games, and we can see why the folks over there would be upset. Keep in mind that this wasn’t an accidental leak done by the devs but stolen footage that wasn’t ready for the public.
