Staying inside is proving to be a little bit more stressful than a lot of us thought it would be, and the fine folks at PlayStation have noticed (despite being very busy with the upcoming PS5 launch).
Although gamers are not strangers to staying in and powering through an interactive experience, suddenly being told not to leave the house changes staying inside from being a choice to a necessity, and that can be quite overwhelming.
Well, the good news is that Sony has actually got you covered. As well as the usual PS Plus offerings, the PlayStation team is also going to be giving away two other games to help you stay entertained and as happy as possible, given the world outside our windows.
Free PS4 games for all
The first is Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which is a collection of the first three games in the series. This is especially great as one of the PS Plus games for this month happens to be Uncharted 4, which means you can play through the entirety of the series for free.
The second game is Journey, which is one of the single most wonderful games ever. In it, you play a little person with a long scarf, and you travel through a strange world reigniting odd glyphs and just generally chilling out. It can be completed in one sitting, and we thoroughly recommend doing so.
If you're in Germany or China, then you'll get Knack 2 instead of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection. It's not for us to say who is luckier at this point.
The games will be available for free on the PS Store from 16th April at midnight BST through until 6th May at midnight BST.

And that's not all folks
It all comes as part of the Play At Home initiative, which is, oddly enough, designed to help you play at home. That's not all it's about though, as they've also announced some creative funding aimed to help keep indie developers alive and kicking during this rather unpleasant economic turn.
This part of the blog states, "Independent developers are vital to the heart and soul of the gaming community, and we understand the hardships and financial struggles that many smaller gaming studios are facing. With that, SIE has developed a fund to support them during this time. We have earmarked $10 million to support our independent development partners."
It's a really nice sentiment and a far nicer offering. It's nice to see a big company supporting the smaller ones that help it flourish, and it's also nice to get free games when you might be running out of backlog to dig through.
