SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk loves to make current events about him, and Russia's invasion of Ukraine is no different. In some ways, the billionaire has actually made things better, giving Ukranian citizens access to Starlink satellite Internet. However, in other ways, Musk is just making things worse.
Elon Musk wants to fistfight Putin
In a tweet last week, the Tesla CEO told his millions of followers that he would fight Russian president Vladimir Putin for Ukraine. The billionaire explained that he would battle the ex-KGB president in a fistfight.
I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat,” Musk tweeted, making sure to write Putin’s name in the Russian alphabet. “Stakes are Ukraine. Do you agree to this fight?” he finished, tagging the Kremlin’s Twitter account.
Of course, this tweet kicked off a wave of responses. Some fans believed Elon Musk would win, holding the same blind faith they have in all of the billionaire’s awful plans. On the other hand, many commented that the ex-KGB would easily beat Elon Musk into the Elon Mush.
After the tweets flooded in, Musk tweeted again, saying: “If Putin could so easily humiliate the west, then he would accept the challenge. But he will not.”

Russian officials respond
Eventually, Musk’s tweets caught the eye of Russian Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin, the leader of Russia’s space program. As expected, Rogozin was not a fan of the Tesla CEO’s online ramblings, and the Roscosmos head couldn’t help but respond.
In his own series of tweets, Rogozin mocked Musk by quoting The Tale of the Pope and his worker Balda. The Roscosmos head said:
“You, little devil, are still young, compete with me weak. It would only be a waste of time, overtake my brother first.”
Musk continued to tweet about his challenge, even stating that Putin will be able to “bring his bear” if he wanted.
For some, watching Musk attempt to battle Vladimir Putin would be a fun time. Could the Tesla CEO hold his own in a hand-to-hand fight with the bloodthirsty Russian president? We think: no way in Hell.
