How Oculus owners can earn points and rewards with newly-unveiled Echo Pass for Echo VR

We all vaguely remember the days before battle passes, where you had to just play games with no constant levelling up and no skins.

Whether you think of those as the good old days or the bad old days is up to you, but times have changed.

We've all got battle passes now, and the latest one to come is for a VR game.

Here's what you need to know about Echo VR.

What is the Echo Pass

As described on the Oculus website, the Echo Pass "will feature a brand new reward track available to all players to unlock rewards throughout the season, with the option to convert to Premium and unlock additional rewards."

It's basically a battle pass for Echo VR which will allow you to earn a bunch of stuff throughout the season as you play the game.

The first season pass will give you "50 reward tiers, consisting of character customizations, heraldry, TXP boosts, Echo Points, and more. Players can earn Tier Experience Points (TXP) by playing matches, to unlock Echo Pass Tiers."

That's good news for anybody that spends a lot of time playing Echo VR, and if you've never heard about it, then here's what you need to know.

What is Echo VR?

"In Echo Combat, you will play as a futuristic battle-ready robot armed with an array of weapons and abilities as your team of four competes against the opposition in high-speed objective-based zero-gravity mayhem!"

"In the Arena, your team will face off against the competition in a zero-gravity clash of robotic glory as you glide, boost, and punch your way to scoring goals in a breathtaking virtual arena."

Echo VR is basically a great chance to enjoy high-flying space-based shooting against friends, foes, and fools.

It's well worth a play if you've not tried it out before.
